Some Assembly Required with Paul Honeman

Paul Honeman began his Municipal career at the People Mover in June, 1985. Paul was later hired as a Community Service Officer at the APD in 1986, and hired as a police officer in 1989. Paul retired in October, 2008 as a Lieutenant after serving as the Spokesperson for the APD.

Paul Honeman has attended Anchorage Community College, UAA, Wayland Baptist University and is a graduate of the School of Police Staff and Command at Northwestern University. A graduate of Bartlett High School, Paul served in and is a veteran of the U.S  Army. Paul is a husband and father now married over 30 years with two children and two grandsons.

Paul’s great passions is serving with youth in the community. Cub Scouting, Baseball and hockey. Many of the players of these youth and school teams stay in contact with Paul – including Scott Gomez – a local hockey player who has paved the way in the NHL for many Alaskan players to follow.
